The Czech composer Petr Bakla is a kind of “self-growth” in the field of composition. The Estonian composer Erkki-Sven Tüür is also concerned with creating overlaps or contrasting surfaces and links between different styles and poetics (Gregorian chant, rock music, minimalism, romanticism, etc.). Adrián Demoč also prefers the poetics of creating a fusion of several compositional concepts (including the use of ethnic elements in atypical contexts). His music, however, brings a particularly strong emotionality and expressively tense situations. The king of the world’s “minimalism” and repetitive style is still the American composer John Adams, Phrygian Gates being his “showcase” opus.
