Perpetuum mobile Perpetuum mobile |
Czech organist Eva Bublová returns after 13 years to the Concert Hall of the Slovak Philharmonic. This time she will perform a repertoire that will pay tribute to the jubilant Bach and at the same time make use of the technical possibilities of the organ in the Reduta. The second half of the recital will be in the French spirit, which will definitely suit the instrument. The magnificent Fantasy in A major*** by César Franck** and *Prelude by Gabriel Pierny will be complemented by younger works by organists and composers at the same time - Perpetuum mobile by Latvian composer Aivars Kalējs and Signum magnum by Zuzana Ferjenčíková. The Slovak organist dedicated the work to Eva Bublová in 2015, and it has appeared regularly in her concert programmes since then. This work is also proof that the organ is not losing its appeal even in the 21st century. Its active use in concert halls and churches, where it functionally accompanies the liturgy, motivates authors to create, just as it did in the past.
